Hence, the main subject of this knowledge encompasses a review of how literary works and their creators are connected to the relevant audience tastes of various periods. Since poetic styles and audience tastes undergo too many changes, it is necessary to shift rhetoric discourses. This article endeavored to deal with the ups and downs of rhetoric throughout the different examples of poetic styles in a descriptive, analytic, and comparative manner and answer the question whether it has kept pace with the poetic developments and the audience changing tastes of Persian poetry. The current research demonstrated there has been little change in rhetoric despite many changes in terms of rhythm or measure, semantics, language, style, and audience of Persian poetry. Thus, this knowledge efficiency in the criticism of Persian poetic eloquence has lessened. Obviously, presentation of practical examples of the aspects of eloquence in the course of different poetic styles can reveal the strengths and weaknesses of rhetoric and provide a context for its development and effectiveness علم معانی یکی از شاخه‌های اصلی علوم بلاغی است که می‌کوشد با معرفی ظرفیت‌های زبانی، پیوندی ماندگار بین آثار ادبی و مخاطبان آن برقرار کند. از این رو بررسی چگونگی پیوند آثار ادبی و خالقان آن با ذوق مخاطبان دوره‌های گوناگون، موضوع اصلی این علم است. از آن‌جایی که شیوه‌های شعری و ذوق مخاطبان، دگرگونی‌های بسیار می‌پذیرد، بایسته است مباحث علم معانی نیز متحول شود. این مقاله کوشیده است در قالب نمونه‌های شعری از سبک‌های مختلف در شیوه‌ای توصیفی، تحلیلی و تطبیقی، فراز و فرودهای علم معانی را در گذر از سبک‌های شعری مورد بررسی قرار دهد و به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که آیا علم معانی پا به پای تحولات شعری و دگرگونی‌ ذائقه مخاطبان شعر فارسی متحول شده است؟ پژوهش حاضر نشان می‌دهد که علی‌رغم دگرگونی‌های بسیار در زمینه‌های وزن، معنا، زبان، سبک و مخاطب شعر فارسی، تحولات چندانی در علم معانی به وجود نیامده است. از این رو از میزان کارآمدی این علم در نقد بلاغی شعر فارسی کاسته شده است. بدیهی است ارائه نمونه‌های عملی از بررسی جنبه‌های بلاغی اشعار سبک‌های مختلف می‌تواند نقاط قوت و ضعف علم معانی را آشکار سازد و زمینه را برای تحول و کارآمدی این دانش فراهم آورد. https://jls.qom.ac.ir/article_960_f8cf69f501eed5e3e3548273402b6a3a.pdf
