In many of his major Odes—especially those dealing with suffering, loss, historical crisis, and protest—Khāqānī transcends the conventional descriptive or panegyric functions of the genre and turns the qasida into an instrument of rhetorical intervention and persuasion. This study applies Jeanne Fahnestock’s theory of rhetorical excess to examine the rhetorical action of excess in Khāqānī’s Odes. The aim is to explain how rhetorical excess contributes to the formation of Khāqānī’s stylistic individuality across three interconnected analytical levels. The research method is descriptive–analytical, based on library research and close textual analysis. The findings demonstrate that rhetorical excess operates systematically on three levels: at the micro-level of expression as localized persuasive acts; at the macro-level of the qasida as a structural organizing principle; and at the discursive level as a dominant framework of meaning production that transforms personal experience into a broader existential concern. This systematic use of excess constitutes a core element of Khāqānī’s stylistic individuality. قصاید خاقانی شروانی از پیچیده‌ترین و فشرده‌ترین نمونه‌های قصیده در شعر فارسی‌ است که به‌دلیل تراکم معنا، حرکت تدریجی کلام و پیوند تنگاتنگ اجزا، بیش از هر چیز در کلیت خود معنا می‌یابند. خاقانی در قصایدی که به رنج، فقدان، بحران تاریخی و اعتراض می‌پردازند، زبان قصیده را از کارکردهای متعارف توصیفی، مدحی و عاطفی فراتر می‌برد و آن را به ابزاری برای اثرگذاری اقناعی بدل می‌سازد. این ویژگی، قصاید او را به متونی مناسب برای تحلیل‌های بلاغی کلان و متن‌محور تبدیل می‌کند. پژوهش حاضر با تکیه بر نظریة بلاغت افراط از ژان فانشتاک، به بررسی کنش بلاغی افراط در قصاید خاقانی می‌پردازد. هدف تحقیق، تبیین نقش افراط بلاغی در شکل‌گیری فردیت سبکی خاقانی و توضیح سازوکار آن در سه سطح تحلیلی است. روش پژوهش، تحلیلی–توصیفی و مبتنی بر مطالعة کتابخانه‌ای و یادداشت برداری است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که افراط بلاغی در شعر خاقانی در سه سطح عمل می‌کند: در سطح خرد بیان، به‌صورت کنش‌های اقناعی موضعی در جمله و بیت؛ در سطح کلان پیکرة قصیده، به‌عنوان منطق سازمان‌دهندة ساختار متن و در سطح گفتمانی، به‌مثابة چارچوب مسلط تولید معنا که تجربة فردی را به مسئله‌ای کلان و وجودی تبدیل می‌کند. این نظام‌مندی افراط، عنصر بنیادین فردیت سبکی خاقانی را شکل می‌دهد.
