Journal Article 2019 01 17 Contrary to the French school of comparative literature that assumes only texts having certain conditions can be compared, in the American approach it is possible to compare literary texts with other forms of art such as cinema so this possibility can contribute to a better understanding of literature. Since novels and films have a lot of shared characteristics, they are similar in many aspects and are in fact regarded as two comparable genres. This commonality can pave the ground for reviewing films from the perspective of modern theories on literary criticism so that concepts and jargons commonly used as a means to discuss novels, can also be applied for the critical analysis of films’ structures and themes. On the other hand, we witness a tendency to “postmodernism” in the current critical discussions about novels in our country such that many novelists today show great interest to postmodernist style in writing. Reviewing some of the most important theories on postmodern literature, this study aims to extract 19 techniques used in postmodern novels and then to explore their application in the film “Being a Star” through qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed commonality between literature and cinema (as a visual text) as many techniques used in postmodern novels are also applied in the above film with high frequency. بر خلاف مکتب فرانسوی ادبیّات تطبیقی که مطابق آن، صرفاً می‌‌توان به مقایسۀ دو متن نوشتاری با لحاظ شرایطی پرداخت، در رهیافت آمریکایی، تطبیق متون ادبی با هنرهای مختلف از جمله سینما امکان‌پذیر است که منجر به درک بهتری از ادبیّات می‌شود. از آن‌‌جا‌ که رمان و فیلم مشترکات زیادی دارند، از بسیاری جهات به یکدیگر شبیه هستند و دو ژانر قیاس‌پذیر محسوب می‌شوند. این مشترکات، زمینۀ مناسبی برای بحث دربارۀ فیلم سینمایی از منظر نظریه و نقد ادبی جدید فراهم می‌کند و امکان می‌دهد مفاهیم و اصطلاحاتی را که به طور معمول ابزاری برای بحث دربارۀ رمان می‌دانیم، برای کاوشی نقادانه دربارۀ ساختار و صناعات و مضامین فیلم به کار ببریم. از سویی دیگر، در سال‌‌های اخیر اصطلاح «پسامدرنیسم» در بحث‌‌های نقادانه دربارۀ رمان در کشور ما رواج یافته و بسیاری از داستان‌نویسان جدید نیز شیفتگی وافری به داستان‌نویسی به سبک پسامدرن از خود نشان می‌دهند؛ لذا در این پژوهش، ابتدا با بررسی نظرات برخی از مهم‌ترین اندیشمندان ادبیّات پسامدرن، نوزده تکنیک‌ مورد استفاده در رمان‌های پسامدرن استخراج شده و با روش تحلیل کیفی به کارگیری آن‌ها در فیلم «ستاره است»، مورد بررسی قرار گرفته‌است. نتایج بررسی، گویای قرابت ادبیّات و سینما (به عنوان یک متن تصویری) و قابلیت مقایسۀ این دو متن نوشتاری و تصویری است؛ چنان‌‌که بسیاری از تکنیک‌هایی که در نگارش رمان‌های پسامدرن به کار گرفته می‌شوند، با بسامد بالایی در فیلم مورد بررسی نیز استفاده شده‌است. http://jls.qom.ac.ir/article_1423_37afd95b1a0631a3d75919604dccbf3e.pdf
