Nader Ebrahimi is a scriptwriter, playwright, documentary filmmaker, songwriter, and an outstanding contemporary novelist. In addition to his short stories, Ebrahimi has written a seven-volume novel called Atash- e Bedoon- e Dood (Fire without Smoke) which has won the award of The-Twenty-Years-after-the-Revolution Novelist. A figurative language, a poetic prose, and his individual style are the distinctive features of Ebrahimi’s works, including Atash- e Bedoon- e Dood. This article by use of a descriptive method and a focus on the literary and stylistic features of the text attempts to answer this question "what has brought about such a poetic, impressive style in the AtasheBedoon- e dood?” It is argued that Ebrahimi’s disninction in Atash-e Bedoon- e Dood lies in his realistic story about of the people of the Torkaman Sahra and presenting the injustices done to them in the Pahlavi era. Furthermore, his figurative language, poetic prose, figures of speech, deployment of defamiliarization technique, the inclusion of regional phrases and regional dialect, lexical and syntactic archaism, and use of ancient poetry and prose result in such resurrection in the words of his novel that enchant every reader’s mind.
